Free Printable Baseball Scorecards

One of the most common questions we get from readers of our best scorebooks article is where to find free printable baseball scorecards.

There are hundreds of free scorecard PDFs available online, but we doubt you’ll need to look beyond the six options we’ve listed below:

All six of these scorecards are designed for printing on standard 8.5 x 11 paper.

#1. THIRTY81 Press Scorecard

Designed by Louis J. Spirito, this clean and compact printable scorecard has space for two subs at each lineup spot and 11 inning columns. Its minimalist design is great for seasoned scorekeepers, or those who just prefer having a little more freedom in how they mark each AB.

THIRTY81 Press also offers themed versions of this scorecard for each MLB stadium, as well as for a number of AAA stadiums.

#2. Metapost Scorecard (Black Version)

Designed by Christopher Swingley, the Metapost baseball scorecard has a traditional layout with a full diamond illustration and pre-printed AB results in each box.

#3. 7-Inning “Numbers Game” Style Scorecard

Designed by Reddit user BreakALegge, this scorecard is based on the popular Numbers Game scorebook pages. Created for youth games, it only has seven inning columns per page, but features dedicated areas for tracking subs, pitchers and other stats.

Note that this scorecard is not available as a PDF, but the images linked below print correctly as 8.5 x 11 pages.

#4. Hilty Scorecard (Version 7.5)

Developed by Reddit user AdministrativeBug368, this is the best printable vertical scorecard we’ve found. It has a clean, unique design with minimalist scoring boxes and space to diagram each team’s defensive positioning.

We think this is a great option for youth games, as the design makes it great for framing!

#5. Vince Skahan’s Reisner Method Scorecard

The Reisner System is a scorekeeping method developed by Alex Reisner that some people think is easier and faster than traditional scorekeeping. You can learn more about how it works here.

Developed by Vince Skahan, the scorecard below was created for use with the Reisner system, though it can be utilized by anyone who is comfortable using a minimalist design.

#6. Patrick A. McGovern’s Scorecards

Patrick McGoven was one of the first people to offer free printable baseball scorecards on the internet, beginning as early as the late 1990s. Originally offered on his website BaseballScorecard.com (which seems to be offline), many of the designs he released over the years are still available via other outlets.

We particularly like the two vertical options below.
